Artist in a Community- Nave Shaanan niegburhood, Tel Aviv

During a four-year artistic residency at 1:1 Center for Art and Politics, the center was placed next to the old Central Bus Station in the Neve Sha’anan neighborhood. Where a concentration of: Abandoned houses, refugees, homeless, drug and prostitution activity.  I conducted research that involved observation, engagement and collaboration with sex workers in the area. All the art was developed with the participation and consent of the women.

L'Origine du monde (2019) A gesture for the artist Gustave Courbet upon an abandoned house in Nave Shaanan, Tel Aviv. The big site-specific fell after only one night, and the pieces i mange to collect was later used in “Spring of an I” in the Refrigerator gallery at 2022.

Jo (2020)- A gesture for the model Joanna Hiffernan on the street of Nave Shaanan, Tel Aviv. This site-specific work became a participatory piece through the spontaneous involvement of a passerby.

Atonement (2020)  was a public art project in which photographs of the eyes of sex workers were enlarged into monumental posters made site-specific to places in the Neve Sha’anan neighborhood in Tel Aviv, Part of the “Night Light” festival.
